FLAME RETARDANT FABRICS

We provide 3 categories of flame retardant fabrics:

1. Blackout fabrics,

2. Flame retardant fabric made 100% of recycled PET bottles,

3. Fabric with antimicrobial silverchloride treatment

All our Flame retardant fabrics are made without halogens and bromides and are thus ozone layer friendly and help us protect ourselves from excess UV radiation.

Fire and combustion gas are a threat to life and limb in buildings. Therefore legislation sets high standards for installations in public buildings with respect to fire protection. Textiles are classified as fire accelerators whereby not only the fire alone but also the toxic combustion gas has a high risk potential.

Fabrics contain a permanent flame protection which is firmly rooted in the molecular structure of the polyester. This flame protection continues to be effective even with aging, usage or washing

In addition to being flame retardant, these fabrics produce a very low amount of gas fumes in case of a fire. This significantly increases the chances of escaping from a burning building

Classification

Because of the installation method of sun protection textiles they are regarded as construction material and classified
as such. The test procedure and the classification system is determined in standard EN 13501.

A2, B1, M1. All our textiles that we classify as flame retardant have one of these classifications. Materials of fire class A2, B1 and M1 are classified as self-extinguishing as soon as the cause of the fire is removed.

FLAME RETARDANT GLASSFIBRE

This glassfibre fabric has superior flame retardancy properties with an A2 classification.

Silent Acustics Flame Retardant

In spaces where no acoustic walls or ceilings have been applied, acoustic roller blinds help to improve the acoustic performance of a room. All rooms have a level of echo or reverb that have an impact on the overall comfort of the residents. Fabrics have a sound absorbent effect. The acoustic effect will not be influenced by temperature, usage or humidity.

• Installation in or in front of the window.
• Suitable for renovation and newly build
• Daylight control and sound absorption: ideal combination • Between glass installations don’t have any effect on the

acoustic performance in the room.
• Don’t use it for noise isolation. The fabric is meant for

absorption only and does not block the noise.

3. Alu Screens,

1. Sustainable Screens:

In our range of sun protection fabrics we have considered sustainability every step of the way and included also polyester fabrics that are 100% made of recycled PET bottles. One square meter of the material contains about nine PET bottles. Recycling naturally helps to lessen the amount of plastic waste. Furthermore energy and water consumption are much lower than when conventional chemical fibers are used.

Our screens are made from the first non-toxic PVC compound to coat poyester to form yarn – a special development for this screen range. Hereby all odors that could reduce interior air quality have been removed. We also have a totally PVC free screen in our range.

2. HiTech Screens,

Especially efficient for heat control because of the white back. Decorative twill look.

High performance metallised fabrics have been engineered to provide the highest standards of visual and thermal performance and are available in both light and dark colours. This gives the highest performance in terms of reduced solar gain, and the best glare control, without having to select a dark internal colour.

3. Alu Screens,

Very efficient for heat control because of the aluminium back.

This fabric is Flame Retardant, Energee Saving and Heat Control

Screens Standart

We provide 3 categories of Screens Standart:

Nice thin screen with 3% openness factor.

Flame Retardant and Glare Controle

Fire and combustion gas are a threat to life and limb in buildings.

Therefore legislation sets high standards for installations in public buildings with respect to fire protection. Textiles are classified as fire accelerators whereby not only the fire alone but also the toxic combustion gas has a high risk potential.Glare is caused by direct sunlight falling on objects in the office.

Glare can also occur when using a computer display: the luminance of the reflection of the surroundings may be higher than the luminance of the computer screen

2. Screens 3000:

Standard very usable screen with 5% openness factor.

With exacly the same Glare and Flame Retardant controll as Screens 2000

3. Screens 4000:

Thicker, heavier 5% screen – also for exterior use.

With exacly the same Glare and Flame Retardant controll as Screens 2000.
